Closures Technical Centre, a division of Magna International Inc., is focused on the design, development and testing of Mechatronics products for the automotive industry. We are currently looking for a student in the Business or Finance field for a 4-month co-op placement, starting May 6 or sooner.

Provides administrative & financial support to the Finance Department in the Closures Technical Centre and Magna Closures of America office. Provide quality customer service for all employees in accordance with the Employee's Charter.

Your Responsibilities
Enter vendor & customer change request into MDG for approval. Assist Accounts Payable in confirming penny test for vendors set up on electronic payments. Review Monthly Vendor statement to ensure all invoices have been received and entered into SAP Manage Mechatronics AP inbox and respond to vendor inquiries. Assist with Vendor Payments, Matching vendor invoices to payment remittance. Posting of monthly Standard Journal Entries & reversals Assist with putting together monthly journal entry & account reconciliation bindersAdditional Responsibilities
Assist with the building of PowerBI reports for Finance Filing vendor payments and boxing prior years financial records Assist with printing & matching vendor invoices daily. Match & code purchases on corporate card Prepare monthly patent log report Maintain strict confidentiality of all information obtained, written or verbal, within the Finance Department Follows Magna's Code of Conduct & Ethics and related compliance policies Perform other duties as requiredWho we are looking for
Working towards Bachelor's Degree or Postgraduate Certificate in Business Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Excellent communications skills: verbal, written, listening Ability to build relationships with & service the customer (internal) Ability to manage multiple tasks Ability to work efficiently individually, as well as in a team Strong attention to detail Maintain confidentiality and integrity Ability to work under pressureYour preferred qualifications
