Financial Analyst FP&A Job Description Targray is seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst FP&A to join our team at our headquarters in Kirkland, Montreal. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our leadership team in executing our strategic growth plan. Job Summary We are looking for a talented Financial Analyst FP&A to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various financial reporting and analysis, budgeting and planning processes, developing financial models, and providing timely forward-looking information and analysis for decision-making purposes. Responsibilities * Perform various analysis of financial and operational performance * Support financial reporting for management decision-making * Identify opportunities for report automation and continuous process improvements * Provide timely forward-looking information and analysis for decision-making purposes * Maintain the company's financial modelling and assist in building new models and reports as the company grows * Collaborate with the broader Finance team on various areas with focus on financial reporting, trend analysis, working capital and WACC modelling and analysis * Support the accounting & reporting teams in the preparation and analysis of financial reporting packages, MD&A and the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the management reporting tools and dashboards * Support the Treasury team in analyzing and modelling finance reporting and cash management reports and presentations and Confidential Information Memorandum for lenders * Assist in the preparation of presentations to the board of directors, senior management and various internal and external stakeholders * Ad-hoc in-depth financial and data analysis Analytics * Utilize advanced analytics to extract meaningful insights from financial and non-financial data * Collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources * Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards, and reports to build the holistic view and support efficient decision-making * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide thorough analysis, scenario modeling, and actionable insights * Evaluate market trends, commodity prices, and relevant industry data to inform strategic decision-making * Support the CFO and Executive team members with ad-hoc analytics and special projects as required * Partner effectively across all business functions including Risk Management, Operations, IT, Finance, and Commercial in order to ensure ongoing alignment of priorities Requirements * Bachelor's degree in a related field * Financial modelling, market research, accounting, and analytical skills * Excellent communicator with an ability to interact with senior management * Experience in commodities trading, supply chain management, logistics firm is an asset * Professional Designation (CPA, CFA) and/or Graduate Degree (MBA, Master's) are considered an asset * 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience * Prior experience in financial analysis * Advanced Excel (PivotTables, Macros, etc.) and PowerPoint skills required.
