Position Overview

Autodesk's Entertainment & Media Solutions (EMS) team is on a mission to enable anyone, anywhere, to create incredible digital entertainment. As we drive the transformation of the Media & Entertainment industry to the cloud, we are seeking skilled Technical Program Manager to help us excel in program execution. You'll be part of an exciting cloud transformation journey and you'll help us implement our platform for media & entertainment customers (Autodesk Flow). In this impactful role, you'll work across product management, software engineering, and UX design teams, and you'll facilitate cross-collaboration within EMS so we can successfully deliver technical solutions. You will be accountable for the complex delivery of technical programs and initiatives, including planning, execution, risk management, dependency management, and stakeholder alignment.

To be successful in this role, you possess a blend of technical expertise, business acumen and a strong capacity to build and develop relationships across different teams and organizational levels.

Responsibilities

  • Create alignment on cross organizations initiatives through outcome driven planning, dependency management and impediment removal
  • Communicate program updates, initiatives and achievements to Autodesk teams and divisional leadership
  • Engage with engineering leadership and teams to build clear delivery plans
  • Monitor and refine delivery plans throughout program execution and communicate frequently with stakeholders about progress against goals
  • Work with teams to remove impediments by supporting software development teams with exception handling, own risk identification and mitigation analysis to address potential roadblocks, reduce time wasters, optimize delivery, and improve internal team's satisfaction of our delivery process
  • Guide development team program efforts on providing technical solutions from design through delivery
  • Drive automation of delivery processes that span across teams (design, development, and operations) with transparency and clarity as a focus
  • Drive continuous improvement and our science-based, Kaizen culture by leading change through retrospectives and "lessons learned"

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 + years of experience in a technical program manager capacity or similar role, in technology, computer software or related industry
  • Experience working directly with software development teams on complex initiatives involving multiple teams and in an Agile environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of distributed systems, cloud services, and / or cloud platform
  • Experience managing different company stakeholders, from technical teams to business leaders, product managers and designers
  • Demonstrated experience developing presentations and written communications on program status for different company stakeholders
  • Ability to impart a sense of urgency, zeal for process and operational excellence
  • Experience using technical tools to scale programs and solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Solid knowledge of system design and data analytics
  • Experience in leading technical program for cloud products and platforms
  • 3+ years of experience in driving program delivery in an Agile environment
  • Knowledge and experience in the Media and Entertainment industry

Dans ce rôle important, vous travaillerez avec les équipes de gestion des produits, de développement logiciel et de conception UX, et vous faciliterez la collaboration au sein de l'équipe EMS afin que nous puissions livrer avec succès des solutions techniques. Vous serez responsable de la livraison complexe des programmes et des initiatives techniques, y compris la planification, l'exécution, la gestion des risques, la gestion des dépendances et l'alignement des parties prenantes. Pour réussir dans ce rôle, vous devez posséder un mélange d'expertise technique, de sens des affaires et une capacité à construire et à développer des relations avec différentes équipes et niveaux organisationnels.

Responsabilités

  • Créer une harmonisation des initiatives entre les différentes organisations grâce à une planification axée sur les résultats, à la gestion des dépendances et à l'élimination des obstacles
  • Communiquer les mises à jour des programmes, les initiatives et les réalisations aux équipes Autodesk et à la direction de la division
  • Collaborer avec les responsables de l'ingénierie et les équipes pour établir des plans de livraison clairs
  • Surveiller et affiner les plans de livraison tout au long de l'exécution du programme et communiquer fréquemment avec les parties prenantes sur les progrès réalisés par rapport aux objectifs
  • Travailler avec les équipes pour éliminer les obstacles en soutenant les équipes de développement logiciel dans la gestion des exceptions, en identifiant et en atténuant les risques pour résoudre les éventuels problèmes, réduire les pertes de temps, optimiser la livraison et améliorer la satisfaction de notre équipe interne vis-à-vis de notre processus de livraison
  • Guider les efforts de l'équipe de développement pour fournir des solutions techniques, de la conception à la livraison
  • Promouvoir l'automatisation des processus de livraison qui s'étendent à travers les équipes (conception, développement et opérations) en mettant l'accent sur la transparence et la clarté
  • Promouvoir l'amélioration continue et notre culture Kaizen basée sur la science en conduisant le changement grâce à des rétrospectives et des "leçons apprises"

Exigences Minimales

  • Plus de 5 années d'expérience en gestion de projet technique ou dans un rôle similaire, dans le domaine de la technologie, des logiciels informatiques ou industrie connexe
  • Expérience de travail directement avec des équipes de développement de logiciel sur des initiatives complexes impliquant plusieurs équipes et dans un environnement Agile
  • Connaissance avérée des systèmes distribués, des services cloud et/ou des plateformes cloud
  • Expérience de gestion de différentes parties prenantes de l'entreprise, des équipes techniques aux dirigeants d'entreprise, en passant par les responsables de produits et les concepteurs.
  • Expérience démontrée dans l'élaboration de présentations et de communications écrites sur l'état des programmes pour différentes parties prenantes de l'entreprise
  • Capacité à transmettre un sentiment d'urgence, un zèle pour les processus et l'excellence opérationnelle
  • Expérience d'utilisation d'outils techniques pour développer des programmes et des solutions à grande échelle
