Arbutus Properties is a leading commercial and residential property development company seeking an experienced Apprentice Carpenter / Skilled Labourer to join our dynamic team.

About the Role

As a member of our team, you will play a key role in the construction of residential and commercial properties in the Saskatoon region, providing insight and innovative solutions to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in labour and carpentry scopes of work for residential and commercial construction
  • Perform tasks such as housekeeping, quality management, and safety of all buildings constructed in a project
  • Perform touch-ups and repairs on sub-trade deficiencies
  • Carpentry work that falls outside of the scope of work of subcontractors
  • Support the Arbutus team as needed for the project lifecycle
  • Other tasks as required by the site foreman
Requirements
  • 2+ years of construction labour and/or carpentry experience
  • Experience in residential construction is an asset
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of how to use small tools and power tools
  • Highly organized, results-oriented, and able to work in a multi-functional team environment
  • Great work ethic and willingness to be a team player
  • Appearance must be neat, clean, and professional
  • Must have own vehicle and valid driver's license
