Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to obstetrical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment by promoting a culture of safety, empathy, and open communication.

Requirements:

  • Five (5) years of clinical experience in obstetrical nursing or a related field.
  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
  • Acute Care of At-Risk Newborn (ACoRN) certification.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with fetal health surveillance and MORE OB Program (Managing Obstetrical Risk Efficiently).
  • Leadership skills and ability to engage others in a collaborative environment.
