We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Delta Hotels Quebec. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of equipment, to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of our assets.
- Respond to guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner, communicating effectively to resolve issues and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machines to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
- Operate and maintain shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Manage maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked and organized workspace.
- Communicate daily activities and any issues that arise to other shifts using approved communication programs and standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting a plus.
- Driver's license required.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance, and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance.
- Ability to move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders, and enter and locate work-related information using computers.
