Job Description

The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) SE Network 9 - Estevan is seeking a locum Obstetrician and Gynecologist to support our health care team. The position involves labour and deliveries, c-sections, gynecological surgeries and treatments, consults and specialist emergency call.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified or eligible to be certified with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) as a Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Regular or Provisional License with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) (or eligible to be licensed)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Successful SHA credentialing including but not limited to acceptable reference checks and criminal record check with vulnerable sector
  • Current Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage
  • Legal entitlement to work in Canada

The successful candidate must be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management and be committed to a provision of high quality patient and family centered care.
