Key Responsibilities
  • Zoning and stocking the department to ensure a visually appealing and easy-to-shop environment.
  • Rotating stock and checking for expired products to maintain a high level of product freshness and quality.
  • Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and discrepancies.
  • Adhering to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates to maintain a safe and healthy shopping environment.
  • Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels to ensure accurate and efficient inventory management.
  • Maintaining features and displays to create an engaging and attractive shopping experience.
  • Keeping the area neat, clean, and organized, and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
