About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at Fraser Health Authority. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of our organization's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify current or potential care concerns and develop interventions to address them.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved School of Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- One (1) year's recent, related gerontological nursing experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Current Level 1 First Aid certificate.
