WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Status: Unionized, seasonal
  • Schedule : Monday to Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
  • Dates : April 07 to November 02, 2024
  • Salary : $19.75 (Class 2)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain green spaces on site and perform horticultural work such as maintenance of various flower beds, weeding, watering, cleaning, fertilizing, minor pruning and shrub trimming;
  • Transport equipment and operate specialized tools required to perform the work (e.g., tanker, blower, brush cutter, hedge trimmer, mower, etc.);
  • Provide information to visitors and answer their questions.
KNOWLEDGE
  • High school diploma or vocational diploma in horticulture
  • Valid driver's license.
EXPERIENCE
  • 3 months experience in the field of horticulture or a professional diploma in horticulture
*Any other combination of education and experience deemed equivalent will be considered
