Job Title: Analytical ChemistJoin our team as an Analytical Chemist and play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our medicines. As a key member of our analytical laboratory, you will be responsible for testing raw materials, in-process products, finished goods, and stability samples.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform analytical testing with high accuracy and precision using various instruments and established procedures.
- Document results clearly and maintain accurate records in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Provide statistical analysis of test results as required.
- Collaborate with the AD department to perform method validation and co-validation.
- Prepare and update stability schedules for various drug products.
- Ensure compliance with all aspects of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act, Safe Work Procedures (SWPs), and Apotex's Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
- Comply with all aspects of Apotex SOPs and cGMP requirements.
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical analytical laboratory.
- Strong laboratory computer skills.
- Operational and troubleshooting skills related to analytical instruments.
- Good knowledge of GMP, GLP, and WHMIS.
- Good knowledge of Pharmaceutical compendia.
