**Teaching Position in Physics and Engineering**

The Physical Sciences department at Thompson Rivers University is seeking a qualified lecturer to instruct in physics and engineering for a possible 3-year limited term contract. The successful candidate will teach first-year algebra-based introductory physics, first and second-year level engineering lecture and project courses, including engineering measurements, electrical properties of materials, and introductory electrical and computer engineering design.

**Position Responsibilities:**

* Teach first-year algebra-based introductory physics courses
* Teach first and second-year level engineering lecture and project courses
* Develop and implement curriculum for engineering courses
* Supervise student projects and provide guidance on experimental techniques and engineering project management

**Qualifications:**

* Ph.D. in electrical engineering, engineering physics, or physics; M.A. Sc. (Electrical) or M. Sc. (Physics) may be considered
* Professional Engineer designation greatly preferred
* Post-secondary teaching experience is required
