Process Coordinator, Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Coordinator, Operations to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing process improvement initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with Lean Black Belts and other stakeholders to execute process improvement roadmaps
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in partnership with Business Units and Subject Matter Experts
- Manage the SOP Library, including scheduled health checks, continuous improvement revisions, and enhancements to documentation standards
- Manage the facilitation of time studies to identify labor baselines and validate process improvement value
- Create and manage a labor rate card library, which will house time study baselines
- Lead and actively participate in operations improvement projects, applying Lean Six Sigma methodology in partnership with Business Units and Subject Matter Experts
- Collaborate with project SMEs to map and re-map process flows
- Work collaboratively with the Regional Operations Manager team to implement new SOPs, evaluate operational process opportunities, and manage the integrity of existing operational processes
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt Certification
- Experience working on projects where Lean Six Sigma methodology was applied
- Presentation and administrative tool experience (Excel, PPT, Word, Visio)
- Experience with Power BI and Minitab is an asset
- Experience facilitating workshops and presentations to a variety of group sizes is an asset
- Local travel around Calgary required, with capacity for flexible start/end times based on the work at hand
- Possesses strong communication skills (written and oral) that can be leveraged to build rapport through influence and collaborate with contributors at all levels of the organization
- Is detail-oriented, highly observant, and comfortable using those skills to coach partners on SOP and data collection standards
- Demonstrates strong organization and project management skills with a high degree of comfort applying Lean Six Sigma methodology to business problems
- Is committed to results by taking personal responsibility for achieving mutually agreed-upon individual/team objectives, and working collaboratively and cooperatively with others to achieve shared goals and objectives
- Is passionate about understanding the customer (our stores) and builds connection through curiosity and in-store engagement
