About the RoleWe are seeking a Graduate Process Engineer to join our team at Rio Tinto Labrador City. As a Graduate Process Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development and operating processes for converting and refining raw materials into products.
- Design, develop and operate processes for converting and refining raw materials into products
- Engage in safe management of hazards across the Rio Tinto IOC processes
- Assist the team in managing hazards of potential catastrophic nature within multiple cycles from mine to concentrating, to smelting and refining copper
- Bachelor or master's degree in Chemical / Process Engineering, or other related field
- Less than two years of relevant work experience (local and international)
- Right to work in Canada
- Valid driver's license
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Excellent analytical capability, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Leadership skills, eagerness to learn and ready for the challenges ahead
- Interest in working in a large complex industrial environment
