We are seeking a dedicated Sales Support Specialist to provide operational support to our sales team. Your daily interactions will help our company grow by improving our sales process and productivity. You could expect to use your skills to troubleshoot, problem solve, resolve, and conquer daily inquiries. You will be a large contributor to an exceptional internal and external Customer Experience.

Our ideal candidate is goal-oriented and has knowledge of sales and customer service best practice. If you have exceptional organizational skills and draw energy from being part of a team, we would like to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Identify bottlenecks in the sales process
  • Set up and monitor effective and efficient work processes for sales related activities
  • Serve as an advisor to our internal teams by answering all sales related questions and concerns
  • Remain aware and knowledgeable of promotional programs, competitive products, and marketing initiatives
  • Support sales team with daily activities to ensure an exceptional Customer Experience
  • Complete Customer forms and relevant documentation
  • Prepare and analyze data, reports, and documents to give business perspective
  • Process sample requests through the business to maintain inventory adjustment accuracy.
  • Generate proposals and contracts for Account Executives
  • Address invoicing questions and work with accounting to investigate and take corrective action
  • Opportunity to interact with Customer and Vendors as required to effectively manage the above objectives

Requirements

  • College/University degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2 years experience in similar role preferred
  • Bilingual French/English an asset
  • Proven work experience as a Sales support specialist or Sales support associate
  • Hands on experience with ERP and CRM systems
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and word
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving abilities

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Analytical and multitasking expertise
  • In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
