Job Summary

Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a skilled Trade Execution Specialist to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our Managed Solutions Group, you will provide exceptional support to our Advisor teams, helping them deepen existing relationships and make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and support to discretionary teams on portfolio modeling, trade list generation, and trade execution within corresponding trading applications.
  • Correspond with Trading Desks, Portfolio Management Consultants, Application Support teams, and Operations teams to resolve issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Review weekly bulk trades for violations and escalate to Portfolio Risk Advisors as required.
  • Utilize strong communication and customer service skills to respond to emails and phone calls, with a focus on providing timely and effective support.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably with Dominion Securities, CFA Level 1 or CIM, or a strong understanding of trading securities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including empathy, coaching, and negotiation, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple competing priorities and dealing with complex issues.
  • Advanced computer skills, with a focus on Excel and the ability to analyze and prioritize data.
