As a Bakery Associate at Walmart Canada, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in the retail industry while providing exceptional customer service. This role involves maintaining and zoning the bakery area, assisting with stocking and sales, and adhering to the company's basic beliefs and values.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, including bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
- Maintain a fully stocked department and ensure merchandise is properly signed and priced.
- Adhere to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, food handling, and sanitation procedures.
- Prepare bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines.
- Ensure all displays are secured in a safe and proper manner.
The following qualifications are required for this position:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide exceptional customer service.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and handling procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
