Job Summary

We are looking for a NSWOC to join our team, providing wound and ostomy care to patients in clinics and communities. The ideal candidate will have experience managing wounds and ostomies, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong commitment to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide wound and ostomy consultation for patients in clinics and communities
  • Assess and manage wounds and ostomies, including conservative sharp wound debridement and edema management
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education and support to patients and caregivers on wound and ostomy care
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) diploma
  • Current College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in good standing
  • Graduate of Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence Canada (NSWOCC)
  • Several years of experience managing wounds and ostomies
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient care
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle
  • CPR Certification
  • Current immunization record
