Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team at Pan Am Clinic. As a key member of our Environmental Services department, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner, adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Perform routine housekeeping tasks, including general cleaning, disinfection, and waste management.
  • Exercise initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities and methods to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Grade 10 education (Manitoba Standard) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in industrial and/or commercial housekeeping.
  • Demonstrated verbal comprehension and written command of the English language.
  • Ability to handle chemicals and cleaning supplies safely and effectively.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 7.75 hour shifts, with a competitive wage rate and comprehensive benefits package. The successful candidate will be required to complete a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, and Child Abuse Registry Check as a condition of employment.
