Job Summary

This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in the retail industry as a Stock Unloader Associate at Walmart Canada. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in unloading trailers, processing merchandise, and moving pallets to the store floor, while maintaining a safe and clean environment and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload and sort general merchandise trailers
  • Complete live unloading of all remaining merchandise
  • Maintain cold chain for refrigerated and frozen receiving and stocking
  • Pull pallets of merchandise to the salesfloor for overnight processing
  • Assist in stocking the salesfloor as assigned and provide customer service when necessary
  • Label and place overstock merchandise
  • Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment through adherence to company policy and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work at heights
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred but not required:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems
  • Ability to operate a forklift
