Job summary: Walmart Canada seeks a Stockperson/Cartpusher to collect shopping carts, provide customer service, and maintain a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Collects shopping carts from cart corrals, parking lot, and store perimeter, and returns them to a safe storage location.
- Assists customers with carry outs or carry ins, and verifies receipts for proof of purchase.
- Maintains Cart Retrieval Log at Customer Service Desk.
- Completes safety sweeps and adheres to safety and emergency procedures.
- Wears personal protective equipment, including steel toe footwear and reflective vest, during cart collection.
- Previous experience in customer service or retail is an asset.
- Ability to lift heavy carts and stand for long periods.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with power equipment and chemical handling.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
