Job Summary

How you will make an impact:

As Catering Delivery Driver you will be an integral part of team ensuring items are loaded, transported and delivered to clients and businesses in a safe and timely manner.

As a Catering Delivery Driver, you will:

  • Ensure all orders arrive complete, on time and do the satisfaction of clients
  • Load vehicles logically and efficiently to maximize productivity
  • Arranging buffet tables with food, beverage, and service items according to standards at delivery location
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with clients and dispatch
  • Return food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils to catering facility
  • Follow sanitation and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment
  • Assist dispatch with tidying, organization and preparation for the following day
  • Keep company vehicle clean and organized at all times; perform pre & post trip vehicle inspections and ensure emergency kits are stocked
  • Ensure adequate fuel levels are maintained in vehicles
  • Perform other duties as assigned

About you:

  • A valid driver's license and good driving record is required
  • Must possess problem solving and time management skills
  • Must have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong communication skills
  • Physical ability to carry out duties of the position
