Job Summary:

You will be responsible for making serving food and drink, cash transactions, verifying cash drawers, giving change, counting cash receipts, and completing cash reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make a positive first impression: smiles, eye contact, tone of voice and thank you.
  • Respond to customers with a friendly and helpful attitude, suggesting products, combos or sizes appropriately.
  • Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Follow Tim Hortons standards and guidelines when preparing product for our customers.
  • Prepare soups, sandwiches, bagels, food and drink as required.
  • Enter all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
  • Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring that cash drawer follows overage/shortage standards.
  • Clean dining environment maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ensure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.

About You:

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent decision-making ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiar with the use of a cash register is an asset.
  • Friendly, outgoing and customer service oriented with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Team player that works productively with others.
