Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of dedicated professionals to deliver business objectives and inspire them to excel in their roles.
  • Direct the activities of staff in relation to transit operations, including dispatching, routing, and tracking vehicle maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures, and safety rules, as well as government regulations and union contracts.
  • Develop and implement health and safety, and security programs and activities.
  • Monitor operations to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address problem areas.
  • Assist with contract negotiations and procurement activities related to transit operational needs.
  • Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer complaints.
  • Participate in union contract negotiations and recommend capital expenditures to increase efficiency and services.
Requirements
  • College education or significant industry experience in public transit in a management or supervisory role.
  • Several years of transit industry experience, with a preference for experience in supervising transit operations staff.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, analytic problem-solving, and diplomacy skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 annually, plus benefits.
