Perfusionist Certified

Perfusionist required to support cardiovascular and critical care services, including cardiopulmonary bypass, extra corporeal life support, and blood management.

Under the direction of the Manager of Interventional Cardiology and Cardiac Support, and under the supervision of the Senior Clinical Perfusionist, the incumbent will be a member of the Cardiovascular and Critical Care team.

The Perfusionist will be responsible for supporting all aspects of perfusion services, including cardiopulmonary bypass, extra corporeal life support, and facets of blood management.

The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree in Clinical Perfusion, a Cardiovascular Perfusion advanced certificate, and be a member in good standing of the Canadian Society of Clinical Perfusion (CSCP).

The Perfusionist will work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, with the ability to function effectively in high stress and emergency situations.

The successful candidate will be registered/eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body and have a strong understanding of perfusion services and cardiovascular care.
