Description :

Employee directly reports to the Custodial Supervisor. Providing Cleaning and Janitorial Services according to established porcedures. Help keep our client's facilities clean and operating.

Duties include:

Sweep, mop, wash hallways, floors and stairs. Dust Furnitures,Vacuum carpets, area rugs and upholstered furniture. Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances. Pick up debris and empty trash containers. Wash windows, walls & ceilings. Address customer's complaints and concern.

Essentials Qualifications:

Ability to work with minimal supervision and use safe work practices;

Excellent time management and organizational skills;

Ability to prioritize work requirements and seek direction when required;

Ability to work flexible shifts; evenings, weekends, holidays;

Demonstrate good work ethics, be reliable and self-motivated.

Must work under pressure.

Ability to use industrial vacuum cleaners/power sweepers, carpet cleaning machine, waxing machine and steam cleaners.

Physically able to bend, kneel, crouch during cleaning according to safety standards.

Assets:

Prior work experience in a role that demonstrates ability to work independently and follow direction;

Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clear Driver's Abstract.

WHMIS Certification (obtained within 1 month of hiring)

FIRST AID Certification ( Obtained within 1 month of hiring)
