The Rec Room Royalmount, Bouffes, jeux & spectacles is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food in a timely and efficient manner. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare food items in the pantry, fry, and/or stations or other areas of the kitchen
* Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the Company
* Assist with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas
* Restock all items as needed throughout shift
* Serve food in the proper portion size and at the proper temperature
* Execute daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedule

Requirements:

* High school diploma or GED equivalent
* Minimum of 1 year of cooking experience
* Professional diploma or food services management (preferred)
* Demonstrated knowledge of food and catering trends, quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
* Knowledge of methods and procedures for serving food, principles of sanitation, and principles of safe food handling
* Superior time management and multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
* Ability to lift up to 50lbs
