Supervisor responsible for ensuring successful fabrication of products, overseeing tooling operations, and supporting management and production personnel.

Supervisor responsible for ensuring successful fabrication of products, overseeing tooling operations, and supporting management and production personnel.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Establish and maintain effective communications with all departments to achieve established targets.
• Conduct business activities in a professional manner consistent with positive leadership practices, emphasizing personal responsibility.
• Plan and direct the utilization and use of equipment and manpower to achieve effective results.
• Meet Presstran and departmental targets and goals.
• Monitor and adjust inventory balances as required, investigate inventory problems, and implement solutions.
• Participate in personnel requirements planning, overtime scheduling, and coordinating layoffs.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance with production/maintenance departments and production planners.
• Assist in preparing and monitoring the department budget.
• Assist with capacity planning and press loading to meet future objectives.
• Coordinate the movement of quarantine material/parts/scrap upon disposition by material buyer/quality assurance.
**Requirements**
• Possess human relations skills and maturity of judgment.
• Possess time management, leadership, communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**
• Equivalent to completion of specialized courses normally taught at community or specialized colleges consisting of more than 2 academic years.
• Minimum 2-3 years supervisory experience in an industrial environment.
• Skill gained by experience - over 3 years.
