Key Responsibilities- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing prompt and courteous service, adhering to our Guest Service Standards.
- Ensure compliance with all company, state, local, and federal policies and guidelines related to maintenance and life safety.
- Operate and maintain the hotel's equipment and systems, including life safety, telecommunications, key control, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, pool, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, and other related systems.
- Handle maintenance request orders in a timely and efficient manner, including logging and follow-up.
- Communicate regularly with the Assistant General Manager, Operations Manager, and General Manager regarding the condition of the hotel's building structure and related systems.
- Supervise external contractors as needed to ensure maintenance work is completed to our standards.
- Adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the company.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt processes and standards.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
- Basic computational ability and computer skills.
- Preferred knowledge of mechanical equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws governing equal employment opportunity, civil rights, occupational safety and health, wage and hour issues, and labor relations.
