Position Summary

As a Produce Stocker at Walmart Canada, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in the retail industry while providing exceptional customer service. This role involves maintaining and zoning the produce area, assisting with stocking and sales, and adhering to the company's basic beliefs and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Zones the department to ensure efficient stock management
  • Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain high-quality merchandise
  • Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced to meet customer expectations
  • Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, food safety, and handling procedures
  • Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and stock management
  • Ensures the department is fully stocked and ready for business
  • Follows Health and Safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
  • Stocks merchandise, picks, and downstocks as required, while applying product protection when necessary
