Job Summary

As a Second Cook, you will be responsible for preparing food according to set standards, policies, and procedures while maintaining quality service throughout.

  • Prepare, pre-cook, and cook food following guidelines.
  • Set up food and equipment for high-volume production.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment cleanliness as per safety standards.
  • Properly store and rotate food and beverage items.
  • Ensure effective communication across all departments.
  • Report maintenance needs or incidents promptly.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Are you equipped to be our Second Cook? Here's what we look for:

  • Prior cooking experience, preferably in a restaurant setting.
  • Hold a Food Safety Certification.
  • Completion of a recognized cooking program.
  • Thorough knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Efficiency and accuracy in tasks execution.
  • Familiarity with industry standards.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Physically capable of performing job duties.
