Automated Conveying Systems Maintenance Technician

Join our team as an Automated Conveying Systems Maintenance Technician at Walmart, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our automated conveying systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on automated conveying systems, including electrical, mechanical, and structural components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with warehouse facilities, including electrical, mechanical, building automation, HVAC, fire alarm, and UPS systems.
  • Construct and install warehouse facilities, including electrical, mechanical, and structural components.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of systems.
  • Collaborate with the team to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer procedures and policies to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with provincial laws and company procedures.
Requirements:
  • Age 18 or older
  • Industrial Electrician Trade Certification or Certified Construction/Maintenance Electrician (for Mechanics who are electricians)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of lock out/tag out procedures
  • Ability to maintain productivity and hygiene standards
