Job Title: Licensed Millwright

Shift: 1-week rotation on days and afternoons (Monday – Friday)

  • Days: 7:00am – 3:00pm; Afternoons 3:00pm – 11:00pm

Rate of Pay: $40.00/hour + any applicable shift premium to start

Job Type: Temp to Perm Hire

We are hiring Licensed Millwrights for our client's manufacturing facility in Burlington. This company manufactures metal automotive safety parts. You must have your 433-A Industrial Mechanic Millwright License. This role is a long-term, temporary to permanent hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Preforms direct troubleshooting maintenance work for repair, adjustment, adaptation, re-design, preventative maintenance and installation of all plant equipment, machinery and infrastructure
  • Install and commission new machinery
  • Repair breakdown of equipment, machinery, and building
  • Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems including CNC machinery
  • Make recommendations on changes to equipment, methods or products
  • Assist and operate machine's when called upon when required if and when needed for the purposes of production requirements
  • Provide Maintenance/Production Managers with accurate written and verbal reports
  • Additional duties as required

Qualifications:

  • 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright License
  • 5 years of Millwright experience in a similar environment required
  • MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs repetitively
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and perform repairs
  • Competent at operating and maintaining CNC machinery
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Time management and ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Experience with conventional machinery and hand tools such as milling machines, lathes, grinders
