Join our team as a Department Manager, responsible for coordinating the activities of associates to ensure a smooth flow of merchandise through the sales floor. This role requires a strong leader who can strategically plan and execute duties based on workload and operational functions.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to a safe and clean work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and reset the Receiving Area to ensure efficient processing of merchandise.
- Unload and sort general merchandise trailers, and complete live unloading of other types of merchandise.
- Delegate and follow up on tasks such as pulling pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing, and stocking and applying product protection on the sales floor.
- Provide training, coaching, and feedback to associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
- Act as a team lead by providing direction to associates and ensuring the team is working efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain the cold chain for refrigerated and frozen receiving to ensure the quality and safety of merchandise.

- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
- Ability to train and develop associates.
