Mega Shredder Labourer Mega Shredder Labourer

We are seeking highly motivated and safety-oriented Labourers to join our Mega Shredder team. As a Labourer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of our business by working in our warehouse on a metal recycling production line.

Job Summary
  • Sorting, picking, and processing metal pieces within the nonferrous picking line
  • Manually lifting materials to assist in loading/unloading and stocking of material
  • Cleaning and/or pressure washing equipment
  • Using hand tools as required for tasks
  • Assisting with loading scrap metal for sales
  • Sorting and stacking materials as directed
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and orderly working environment
  • Completing Pre-Job Hazard Assessments and Equipment Pre-Use Inspections
  • Performing other general labour duties as required

Requirements
  • 1-2 years labour experience or experience working on an assembly line
  • Ability to perform physical repetitive tasks with the ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to work outside year-round in all weather conditions
  • Previous experience working in the industrial/metal industry is considered a strong asset
