Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and monitor day-to-day operations of a landscape maintenance crew.
  • Direct activities of Labourers as per work orders, ensuring efficient completion of tasks.
  • Responsible for short-term planning and keeping operations managers informed of decisions made.
  • Complete all necessary reports and records, including vehicle maintenance and defect reports.
  • Operate basic landscaping equipment, including mowers, tractors, and pruning saws.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning daily.
  • Maintain adequate supplies and equipment for the crew.
  • Assist in the orientation and training of staff.
  • Comply with all company policies and regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in nursery/landscaping.
  • Minimum 1 year experience leading a crew of 4-5 people.
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs, climb, bend, dig, etc.
  • Ability to drive a truck and trailer.
