Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused General Merchandise Associate to join our team at Walmart Canada. As a General Merchandise Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with the sale of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a polite and friendly manner.
  • Cover assigned areas on the sales floor, including zoning and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Assist with stocking and displaying merchandise, including moving feature merchandise to its modular home.
  • Work with recovery merchandise from the Customer Service desk and other areas of the store.
  • Assist with Front End coverage and communicate with other associates to ensure floor coverage is maintained.
  • Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be able to lift up to 25 kg. If you are a team player who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply.
