Production Planner / Transactions: Develop and optimize production schedules, track material movements, and ensure accurate transactional invoicing for a leading manufacturer of electrification products.

As a Production Planner / Transactions, you will play a key role in translating customer orders and sales forecasts into production schedules. You will work closely with the Head of Planning and Execution Services to ensure the accuracy of planning and optimize the use of equipment and labor.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop optimized production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer order priorities, labor availability, and equipment availability.
  • Respond quickly to new information provided by sales, customer service, or operations teams and adjust the production plan accordingly.
  • Communicate production issues daily to the appropriate departments.
  • Complete production reports and efficiently manage performance indicators.
  • Participate in the transactional process to ensure that usage declarations are made on work orders.
  • Conduct analysis and provide explanations for usage variances on work orders.
  • Participate and contribute with the cycle counting team to identify improvement opportunities to understand and reduce usage variances on work orders.
  • Master the transactional process related to the receipt of goods to ensure they are properly received in our system.
  • Master the transactional invoicing process for orders to support the shipping department.

Qualifications:

  • University or college degree in a relevant field such as Operations Management, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, etc.
  • Excellent customer service and strong ability to follow up and strictly meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated skills in autonomy, rigor, meticulousness, and decision-making.
  • Strong planning and priority management abilities to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Adaptability to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP, KBM, Excel, Outlook, and Teams software.
  • Bilingualism (French - English)
