Our client, a manufacturing company in Ontario, is looking for an autonomous and experienced HR Business Partner.

Conversational french is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support warehouse managers in personnel management and labour relations
  • Participate in the implementation of various OHS policies and procedures in collaboration with the OHS Coordinator.
  • Process and complete documentation related to workplace accidents
  • Work with warehouse managers to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Draft disciplinary notices and various letters
  • Conduct disciplinary meetings and provide support to managers in this regard
  • Occasionally translate documents into English or French
  • Analyze recruitment needs in conjunction with the Regional Operations Manager
  • Participate in the talent acquisition process by conducting telephone and inperson interviews in collaboration with the recruiting team.
  • All other related tasks.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management or industrial relations
  • Minimum of five years' experience as a human resources generalist.
  • Good knowledge of Ontario labour law and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High degree of autonomy
  • Excellent ability and interest in using new technologies
  • Mastery of the Office suite and Microsoft 365 environment
  • Collaborative team spirit
  • Bilingualism (English and French) both spoken and written is preferred.
  • Have a car and be open to travel in the Ontario region very rarely
