About the Opportunity

The Medical Device Reprocessing Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective reprocessing of medical equipment. This position requires a strong understanding of sterile supply processing equipment and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12 plus graduate of a recognized Medical Device Reprocessing Technicians' course and a minimum of 9 months recent related experience. Medical Terminology and knowledge of sterile supply processing equipment are also assets.

The Medical Device Reprocessing Technician will be responsible for reprocessing medical equipment, ensuring that it is safe and effective for use. This includes operating steam sterilizers, cart washers, and other equipment to ensure that medical devices are properly cleaned and sanitized.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about providing excellent patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the role of Medical Device Reprocessing in the delivery of patient care and will be able to demonstrate accountability, sound judgment, and decision-making skills.

Hours

This is a long-assignment part-time position, with 15 hours biweekly. The assignment length is approximately 12 months, with an anticipated start date of December 2025. The successful candidate will be required to work 7.5 hour shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and may be required to travel.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive hourly rate of $24.68, with opportunities for advancement and professional development.
