Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common type of dementia, making up approximately 70% of all cases. Those over the age of 65 are at a higher risk to develop AD. It diminishes cognitive, verbal and physical abilities by destroying brain cells. This in turn affects our ability to think, to learn new things, and to remember. Many scientific experts are working to ameliorate our understanding of this devastating disease, thus searching to find more effective treatments.

Our clinics partner with pharmaceutical companies to conduct Phase II and III clinical trials for Alzheimer's Disease. Our unique contribution will revolutionize the fight against the disease. We provide care to patients, generate knowledge for the scientific community, continue to improve support, and access to clinical research.

SUMMARY
The Memory Clinic is seeking a highly capable and reliable Management Accountant with the ability to gather and analyze key financial information for internal and external use for forecasting and to support the organization's budgeting and funding, while also optimizing our financial management strategies and policies.

The incumbent will perform financial analysis for each clinic, maintain required reporting, monthly budgets and financial forecasts, prepare dashboard and establish KPI, and advise on strategic planning.

They will assist the executive team with financial decision-making, prepare financial reports, and develop and implement strategies to reduce the organization's operational and production costs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze financial statements including monthly variance analysis with budgets for each clinic.
  • Assist in the production of the annual budget and periodic forecasting.
  • Develop KPI dashboards to support management
  • Provide management reporting for decision-making, including project appraisal, evaluation and post-implementation analysis.
  • Ongoing review of cash flow and production of forecasts.=
  • Manage capital expenditure, repair maintenance and investment for new clinics.
  • Develop, implement and monitor internal controls and optimize processes
  • Works closely with the accounting outsourcing team and acts as a bridge between the two entities.
  • Assists with Accounts Receivable/Revenues, Payable/Expenses and Payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

AU SUJET DE LA CLINIQUE

Nos cliniques s'associent à des sociétés pharmaceutiques pour mener des essais cliniques de phase II et III sur la maladie d'Alzheimer. Notre contribution unique va révolutionner la lutte contre la maladie. Nous fournissons des soins aux patients, générons des connaissances pour la communauté scientifique, continuons à améliorer le soutien et l'accès à la recherche clinique.


SOMMAIRE DU POSTE
La Clinique de la mémoire est à la recherche d'un comptable de gestion hautement compétent et fiable, capable de rassembler et d'analyser des informations financières clés à des fins internes et externes, pour la prévision et le soutien du budget et du financement de l'organisation, tout en optimisant nos stratégies et politiques de gestion financière.

Le titulaire du poste effectuera une analyse financière pour chaque clinique, tiendra à jour les rapports requis, les budgets mensuels et les prévisions financières, préparera des tableaux de bord et établira des indicateurs clés de performance (KPI), tout en conseillant sur la planification stratégique.

Il assistera l'équipe de direction dans la prise de décisions financières, préparera des rapports financiers et élaborera et mettra en œuvre des stratégies visant à réduire les coûts opérationnels et de production de l'organisation.

TÂCHES ET RESPONSABILITÉS

  • Analyser des états financiers, y compris l'analyse mensuelle des écarts avec les budgets pour chaque clinique
  • Collaborer à la production du budget annuel et aux prévisions périodiuqes
  • Développer de tableaux de bord de KPI pour soutenir la gestion
  • Fournir des rapports de gestion pour la prise de décision, y compris l'évaluation des projets et de l'analyse post-implémentation
  • Effectuer la revision continue de la trésorerie et fournir des prévisions
  • Gérer les dépenses en capital, de la maintenance et de l'investissement pour les nouvelles cliniques
  • Mettre en place et assurer les suivis des contrôles internes pour optimiser les processus
  • Collaborer étroitement avec l'équipe comptable externe, être le lien entre les deux entités
  • Offrir un soutien aux comptes clients, les comptes fournisseurs et la paie
  • Assurer la confirmité de toutes les règlementations financières
  • Exécuter tout autre taches connexes selon les besoins
