Project Manager

Thales Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and control project activities to achieve project objectives.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate and manage project teams, including stakeholders, vendors, and contractors.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with Thales Canada's project management methodologies and standards.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, business, or project management.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a matrix organization.
  • Strong commercial and contractual acumen.
  • Certified Practicing Project Manager (IPMA) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with program management processes, including change control, risk management, and information management.
