Physician - Family Practice

Location: Newfoundland and Labrador

The Labrador-Grenfell region offers an abundance of outdoor activities, spectacular scenery, and a safe family environment.

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician to join our team at the Strait of Belle Isle Health Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality Primary Health Care services as part of a team of physicians and nurses
  • Work collaboratively to promote and support person-and family-centered care
  • Ensure patient and worker safety at the health centre
  • Cover on-call commitments, including weekends and holidays

Requirements:

  • Eligible for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador
  • Satisfy credentialing requirements of Labrador-Grenfell Health
  • Medical degree
  • Work experience an asset
  • Satisfactory record of work performance and attendance
  • Satisfactory Certificate of Conduct from the RCMP or local police authority

Hours of Work:

75 hours bi-weekly
