Position: Geotechnical/Civil Engineer

Your Work Environment at EXP

As a member of the Earth and Environment Group in St. John's, NL, you will:

  • Cultivate client relationships
  • Create proposals for geotechnical and materials testing services
  • Plan and execute engineering assignments
  • Coordinate project activities with various stakeholders
  • Oversee field operations and laboratory testing
  • Participate in environmental project development
  • Analyze geotechnical instrumentation data
  • Conduct design and analysis tasks
  • Contribute to field investigations and inspections
  • Produce technical reports
  • Mentor junior staff
  • Support business development efforts

Your Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or Geological Engineering
  • Professional Engineers and Geoscientist of Newfoundland and Labrador (PEGNL) membership
  • Minimum of five years of relevant engineering experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of construction procedures
  • Team player with strong time management skills
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
