Who Are You:

You are an experienced mid-level Web Developer with a strong background in streaming technologies and a proven track record of supporting various Operations teams. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in web development, capable of collaborating across departments, and adept at creating seamless digital experiences.

What you need to succeed:

  • 3-5 years' experience with web-based software design and development
  • 5+ years' experience with programming in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS frameworks
  • Proficiency in at least one server-side technology (Java, PHP, NodeJS, Python)
  • Proficiency in at least one Content Management System
  • Demonstrated experience in website optimization
  • Experience with cross-browser compatibility is a must
  • Experience gathering information from multiple stakeholders and managing projects to completion
  • Working Knowledge of Github and Agile methodologies
  • Solid knowledge of algorithms with good problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
  • Highly analytical, innovative, and able to think strategically and to develop comprehensive detailed specifications
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills; ability to produce clear, concise communications and documentation
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work on concurrent assignments with different priorities

What is the Role:

As a Web Developer, you will be an integral part of Kidoodle.TV's development team. Working with and under the direction of the Client Application Lead you will be an integral component of content management platforms and building out our web services.

Key duties will include:

  • Build compelling features within the Kidoodle.TV website which enables our users to connect with content that brings joy
  • Push the boundaries of the Web UI performance to ensure great UI/UX across browsers, bandwidths, and accessibility needs
  • Integrate new services, components, libraries, and technologies into the architecture of the Web UI member feature-set to maintain alignment with contemporary best practices and design patterns
  • Contribute your expertise, insights, and feature ideas to advance Web UI
