Here's where you'll be focusing:

  • Prescription assembly and data entry
  • Processing customer transactions, receiving and releasing prescription requests
  • Handling in-person and telephone refill requests, recording deliveries
  • Promoting and understanding pharmacy programs
  • Filing prescriptions, ordering and restocking supplies, maintaining cleanliness
  • Handling drug orders, compounding, and assembling pill packs
  • Scheduling professional clinical services
  • Managing tasks behind the counter, conducting cycle counts, narcotic counts, stock returns, and more
  • Assisting the pharmacist with dispensary tasks

What you have to offer:

Preferred: Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from a recognized post-secondary institute
Will consider candidates with 2 years of retail Canadian Pharmacy experience instead of a certificate in some Provinces
Prior pharmacy experience is advantageous
Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced setting
Adherence to all relevant company standards
