We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Hosts to join our team.Job Description
- Maintaining host stand area, ensuring organization and cleanliness at all times
- Possess a working knowledge of the venue (location, direction, events, policies etc.)
- Effectively manage guest flow to maximize seating capacity
- Know all table numbers and maintain awareness of which servers are in each section
- Communicate with Managers and FOH staff during events to maintain proper guest flow throughout the venue.
- Assist management and FOH staff in all necessary preparations and set up for events.
- Manage the guest waitlist
- Escort guests to their table
- Other duties as assigned or requiredQualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service position
- Strong oral communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
- Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
- Minimum 4 year experience in customer service and fine dining restaurant experience considered an asset
