Staff Pharmacist role at Walmart involves assisting the Pharmacy Manager in pharmacy operations, providing patient care, and ensuring accurate prescription filling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure excellent patient experience and locate merchandise on the sales floor.
  • Establish and develop strong working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Accept prescriptions and refill requests from customers, doctors, or hospitals.
  • Fill prescriptions accurately, efficiently, and safely, and counsel patients on pharmaceutical products.
  • Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products and execute processes according to Walmart's best practices.
  • Operate pharmacy equipment and protect patient privacy at all times.
  • Ensure patients receive eligible services and meet specific patient needs.
  • Assist in executing the business action plan to achieve corporate goals.
Requirements:
  • Pharmacist License (secondary optional permit in Alberta: CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization)
