Job Summary

The Staff Pharmacist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy. As a key member of our team, you will assist the Pharmacy Manager in all aspects of pharmacy operations, providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Pharmacy Manager in managing pharmacy operations, including patient consultations, prescription filling, and inventory management.
  • Provide patient care specific to each patient's needs, based on feedback received during consultations or file reviews.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient prescription filling, using established workflow models and counseling patients on sold pharmaceutical products.
  • Maintain proper storage of pharmaceutical products and execute processes as per Walmart's best practices and SOPs.
  • Operate all equipment in the pharmacy, including registers and computer systems, while protecting patient privacy and adhering to provincial regulations.
  • Ensure patients receive all eligible services, including medication reviews and injections, to meet specific patient needs.
  • Assist in executing the business action plan to achieve corporate business goals, in partnership with the Pharmacy Manager.

  • License - Pharmacist License (secondary optional permit in Alberta: CA_APA - Additional Prescribing Authorization)
