About the Role:

We are looking for skilled senior engineers with a diverse skill set to be part of our team. We focus on creating dependable web services, especially our trading API, which supports over 50 investment apps globally. Since our API involves real money, ensuring continuous uptime and trustworthiness is vital. Currently, we collaborate with 25 financial organizations worldwide and are consistently expanding.

Expectations

Desired Candidate:

The perfect candidate will have a background in well-funded startups, with a history of growing responsibilities in engineering positions. Familiarity with crafting varied API integrations, web scraping, and data standardization would be extremely advantageous. The ability to adapt to uncertainty and rapidly changing project priorities is essential. Most importantly, we are looking for individuals who can take charge of critical systems and work well with the entire team.

Technologies Used:

Our main services are based on typed Python and Django for business logic and ORM, PostgreSQL as our primary database, Redis for caching and queuing, and ECS for infrastructure. Previous experience with these technologies is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to meet specific product objectives.
  • Share responsibility for maintaining functional and dependable services.
  • Take lead on assigned projects and ensure successful results.
  • Communicate with the broader organization to clarify needs and guarantee successful delivery.
  • Continuously improve your skills, specializing in key areas and gaining a broad understanding of core systems.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in a software engineering role, with increasing responsibilities.
  • Strong focus on details and effective communication capabilities.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to maintain a positive attitude under stress.
  • Proven drive to excel and make valuable contributions to major projects.
